hydro-eco-meteorlogical Observatory

The long-term regional observatory AMMA-CATCH aims to monitor the impacts of global changes on the continental water cycle and the functioning of the critical zone in West Africa.

To achieve these objectives, the observatory has been collecting data since 1990 from four highly instrumented mesoscale sites (≈10,000 km²), staggered from the north to the south of West Africa, in different eco-climatic zones. (Benin, Niger, Mali).
